We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the social intelligence lab at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. This unique six-year position offers an exceptional opportunity to advance research and teaching in the field of social neuroscience using VR and neuroimaging techniques. We offer a highly international, team-oriented and dynamic research environment in the heart of Berlin with state of the art neuroimaging, motion tracking and VR facilities.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Completed a scientific university degree and PhD in cognitive psychology/cognitive neurosciences or a related field
- Experience in experimental cognitive neuroscience research (especially EEG)
- Very good knowledge of statistics and programming skills (e. g. Python, Matlab)
- Relevant publication experience in international journals
- Very good written and spoken English (at least B2)
- Basic German language skills
- High ability for independent work and high social competence
- Desirable: experience with virtual reality (e. g. in Unity) and with motion capture
