This line of research investigates how individual behavior is influenced by the group. It involves phenomena such as social and motor contagion, as well as social conformity. Additionally, we examine how basic social-cognitive functions, such as the sense of agency, are influenced by the group.
Social Interactions
This line of research investigates how individuals interact in various tasks, including studies on joint action, kinematic adaptation, and social exclusion. Additionally, we examine how properties of agents, such as gender, influence basic social-cognitive processes like the sense of agency.
Intentional Control and Free Will
Our research on intentionality and free will aims to understand the extent to which humans can make decisions freely and how they can control their behavior and adapt to changing environmental demands. Additionally, we explore how high-level beliefs about free will impact social cognition and moral behavior.
